Updated Dynamic Form for General AP Info |
We have made the General AP Info part of the profile dynamic. This means that you will now only be displayed questions if your response is needed. In the past we displayed all of the questions even if they were not needed because of a prior response. Now if the response to a question makes other questions obsolete you will not see the other questions. In other words, your response to questions will show or hide other questions. We hope this feature clears up confusion that was caused by asking questions that do not pertain to your school. This feature is most evident in the Fee Info section as the need for many questions depend on the response to previous questions. |

Refund Policy Information for Students |
We recently changed the way we handle your refund policy. In your profile you now have fields that allow you to input refund dates and fees. Most schools will refund the entire exam fee if students drop an exam before they place the exam order with the College Board. After that they will give a partial refund up until some date and then there are no refunds. This is the model we have in mind when we set up the refund fields in the General AP Info part of your profile. When setting up your profile be sure to account for the fact that unadministered exams that are returned to the College Board are charged a fee. This is why we have the "cancellation fee".
We have also added a check box to the preview page that requires students to acknowledge that they read and understand the refund policy before they can complete their registration. It is our hope that this will inform people more and minimize confusion if a student requests a refund for cancelling an exam.
The refund policy can be "turned off" if you desire, but we recommend using it to keep everyone informed. When accepting credit card payments it is imperative that the refund policy is spelled out and agreed to, so we will not allow it to be turned off for those of you accepting credit card payments.

IB Schools - Find Conflicts between the AP and IB exams |
We recently added a feature that allows schools that administer IB and AP exams to find conflicts between the two programs.
In order to take advantage of this feature you will need to indicate that you give IB exams in your AP General Registration Info part of "My Profile". After you indicate this, you will be presented with a new section in "My Profile". Here, you will indicate the IB exams you offer, the level of the exam and the teacher names, similar to how you set-up the AP exams. Once you do this, students will be asked if they are taking any IB exams. If the answer yes, they will be presented an extra page where they indicate the IB exams they are taking. This information will be used later to compile a conflict report.
When there are conflicts between the two programs schools will usually opt to schedule the AP exam that conflicts as an alternate, since the IB program does not have an alternate testing schedule. Our system allows you to do this easily. |

Past Year's Data |
We are working on a feature that will allow past clients access to previous year's data. While we work on this feature, reports for past clients will show registrations from past year's.
Please do not remove last year's students while we make these changes. We will be editing the reports and eventually your will only see this year's registration's unless you choose to view past registrations.
