Why are some pages not working or data not displaying? PDF Print E-mail

There are several reasons why some pages might not open correctly or data may not be displayed:

  1. Many of the features require you to be logged in, like the AP Report Center.  Please be sure you are logged in.
  2. There might not be any data to display for the particular page, i.e. your are viewing an exam roster for which no students are registered.
  3. You have an old browser.  Please be sure that you are using a current web browser.  The site has been tested using Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2.
  4. Your security settings on your computer are not allowing cookies or scripts.  A cookie is a text-only string that gets entered into the memory of your browser.  This allows the site to remember who you are when you are logged in and perform other similar functions.  TotalRegistration.net has been verified to work with Internet Explorer settings (security = medium and privacy = medium).  To check your settings in Internet Explorer 7 click on tools - Internet Options.  Scripts are small pieces of code that are used for some of the interactive features.
  5. Sometimes Internet filtering at the school or district does not allow the site to work properly.  Please ask your IT department to add TotalRegistration.net to the "whitelist" of the Internet filtering software.
  6. Your login may not have to proper privileges to view this particular information.
  7. The browser may have "lost track" of who you are.  Try logging out, closing the browser and starting over.
  8. Try a hard refresh (skips cache) by using Ctrl-F5 on a pc.
