Can I register a student for an exam not on our registration form? PDF Print E-mail

You can sign up a student for an exam that you did not specify on your registration form (in your profile).  If there are many students that need to take this exam the easiest thing to do is to add it to the registration form.  If there is only one or two students that need it you can add them to the database manually.

If the student has already registered for other exams you can add this new exam by using the Database Management tool in the AP Report Center.  Locate the student and click edit.  You will know need to mark a Y next the the exam your would like to add and add a teacher name in the appropriate field.  There are two other edits you need to make.  One is to make sure that the number of exams is correct and the other is to make sure that the amount owed is correct.  These will usually need to be changed.  The amount owed does not automatically change when you edit the record.

If the student only needs to take this exam and has not registered we recommend that you have them register for a different exam any exam that is on the registration form) and then edit their record to change the exam information.  This will assure you that all of the contact information is correct.

In order for this exam to show in your exam rosters you will need to edit your profile and check this exam.  The list of rosters is determined by what you have indicated in your profile.
